What Are The Uses Of The 7 Chakras?

Chakras are vertically arranged energy points in human beings. The word chakra in the Sanskrit language means wheels. There are 7 chakras that are considered to be the most important. These chakras are arranged from the top of the head to the base of the spine and are identified by different colors. Each of these chakras is responsible for different parts of the body and is useful to those parts with which they are associated.

There is abundant energy in our bodies. This energy is supposed to have a smooth flow throughout the body but, due to imbalances, this energy flow is blocked and this sometimes leads to illnesses.

Below is a list of the 7 main chakras and their uses:

The crown chakra. This is also known as Sahasrara. Its location is on top of the head and it is used for mental control and it treats insomnia.

The third eye chakra also known as Ajna and is located just above the eyes on the forehead and is used to solve problems with the ears, nose and eyes.

The throat chakra also known as Vishuddha. From the name you can tell its location. Its use is associated with problems of throat blockages and internal bleeding.

The heart chakra, also identified as Anahata, is located in the middle of the chest above the heart. It helps to deal with heart problems and the nervous system.

The solar plexus chakra has another name, Manipura. It is located in the stomach area in the upper abdomen. Its uses include treatment of diseases like diabetes, ulcers and constipation.

The sacral chakra. This chakra is also called Swadhisthana and, unlike the solar plexus chakra, is based in the lower abdomen. This means it is responsible for all the surrounding organs like the bladder, appendix, large intestines, the hips, the reproductive organs and also the stomach. The problems it deals with include sexual dysfunctions, urinary problems and also lower back pain.

Last, but not least, is the root chakra which is located at the base of the spine. It is responsible for the lower body, kidneys, blood and muscles. This chakra is mostly used to eliminate depression.

Using your chakras is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to have a healthy life. These 7 chakras are activated through meditation and if you are a beginner, I would recommend you get access to guided meditation.
